This session is designed to provide information and resources for parents of students who have been placed on Academic Warning status or are not performing well academically. All students on academic warning received a letter mailed to their permanent address at the end of the Fall 2016 semester. In this workshop, you will learn strategies you can use to assist your student in succeeding at Auburn University. You will hear from various campus representatives who will address some of the following concerns: Academic Policies, Academic Advising, Grade Adjustment Policy (GAP), Transient forms, Academic Support resources, AU Career Center resources, and Student Life. Succeeding Away from Home
Prior to the workshop, Auburn’s Department of Residence Life will be hosting a session, Succeeding Away from Home for parents about roommates, living away from home, and other adjustment issues. This will take place from 11:00 -12:30pm in 176B of the RBD Library with lunch included, which is also located on the ground floor.
