Unfortunately, no.  Both sorority recruitment and Plainsmen’s Prep have extensive schedules that will not allow students to be involved in both.

No, you do not have to do anything in advance. Once you register for the program, we will work with the Department of Housing to ensure that they are aware you are moving in early for Plainsmen’s Prep.

While the program does feature 3 hours of lecture, 2 hours of Supplemental Instruction, and Academic Workshops during the day, we will do other fun things so you can meet other first year students, make friends, and feel a part of the Auburn family during the evenings.

On August 7th, you will have all day to move into your housing assignment.  We ask that you are moved in by 5pm. From 6pm-8pm, we invite all parents and families to join us for a Welcome Dinner at the AU Hotel and Conference Center.  This will be a time for us to share details of the program and set expectations for the students participating.  After the dinner, students and parents/families are free to do whatever they may need until the program kicks off bright and early on the morning of August 8th.

No, you can not apply the $700 program fee to your E-bill. It must be paid through our Marketplace (you will receive information if you’ve been accepted) by credit card only.  However, if you are living on campus, the $90 charge for housing will be applied to the E-bill.
