Study Smart: Academic Boot Camp Fall 2017
Study Smart is a non-credit 10 week program for suspended students. Enrolled students and students who have already taken Study Smart are not eligible.
This class is for students on suspension and will focus on- skills and attitudes required for academic success at Auburn University, accepting the reality of one’s academic situation, coming to terms with what one is going to have to do to graduate from Auburn/another college, and exploring other paths to success in life.
Dates & Times: Class meetings will be held in RBD library room 0176B on Wednesdays September 13th – November 15th from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.
Cost: $150.00 (MONEY ORDER ONLY) Instructions for paying will be given during registration appointment. Payment must be made in person on September 8th. Additional materials also required (e.g. textbook).
To Register: Registration begins August 23rd – September 7th. Call 334.844.5972 to schedule a registration appointment. Students MUST meet with an instructor prior to registering for the program. Program size is limited as are registration appointments. The program will be closed when it is full or when there are no more registration appointments, whichever occurs first. If a student is unable to attend the registration appointment time offered, he/she will be put on a waiting list. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Expelled students can take Study Smart ONLY if they meet the following criteria:
- Have senior status in earned hours (91 earned hours or more)
- 18 hours or fewer left to complete degree
- 1.85 or higher Auburn University institutional GPA
- Have written (email is fine) support from Dean or Associate Dean of college/school
