Step #1: Apply for the Program

Students must submit an online application for the program between Monday, January 13 – Thursday, January 30 at 11:59pm (Central Time). To start the application, you will be asked to log on using your Auburn email address and password. Please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Student Information (AU Email Address, Banner ID, Phone)
  • Academic Standing (can confirm on your AU Access page)
  • Responses to a few short answer prompts regarding your academic experience

Upon completion of the application, the instructor will automatically receive your submission. The instructor will review your application and reach out via email within 3-4 business days to confirm your eligibility for the program.

Step #2: If Accepted, Pay the Registration Fee

If your application is accepted, the instructor will then email you instructions to pay the $150 non-refundable program fee via an online portal by Friday, January 31 at Noon (Central Time). Once the program fee is received, you are officially enrolled in the Study Smart program.

All officially enrolled students will receive an email from the instructor during the afternoon of August 30 with the class Zoom link, information about joining the Canvas course, and a reminder to purchase the class textbook. The first class session will meet on Wednesday, September 4 from 10:00am-11:30am (Central Time) via Zoom.
