Step #1: Apply for the Program

You can apply online between Monday, August 17 and Thursday, September 3 at noon (Central Time). To start your application, log in with your Auburn email address and password. Be ready to provide:

  • Your student information (AU Email Address, Banner ID, Phone Number)

  • Your academic standing (can can check this on your AU Access page)

  • Answers to a few short questions about your academic experience

Once you submit your application, it will go straight to the instructor. They'll review it and email you within 3-4 business days to let you know if you're eligible for the program.

Apply for Study Smart

Step #2: If Accepted, Pay the Registration Fee

If your application is accepted, the instructor will email you instructions to pay the $150 program fee online. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid by Friday, September 4 at noon (Central Time). Once you pay the fee, you're officially enrolled in Study Smart.

All enrolled students will get an email from the instructor on the afternoon of September 4. This email will include the class Zoom link, information about joining the Canvas course, and a reminder to buy the class textbook. The first class meets on Wednesday, September 9, from 10:00 - 11:30 AM (Central Time) on Zoom.
